Lapo Melzi studied writing and filmmaking, receiving his MFA in Screenwriting and Film Production from New York University. His works have received several international award, amongh which “Black Rose” is now part of the permanent media collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He now writes novels. His first novel, Horse Sense, was an Italian Amazon bestseller in 2023, then acquired and republished by a major publishing house. His second novel, The Last Son of the Moon is now out.
